Associate Director, Enterprise Applications

Phillips Academy seeks an Associate Director, Enterprise Applications in the Office of Information Technology. With minimal supervision and under the general direction of the Director of Technology, the Associate Director Enterprise Applications is responsible for the planning, architecture, implementation, management, support, and integration of the Academy’s enterprise applications. The applications include Unit4 (student, HR, finance) and Agilon (alumni, donor) systems, the business intelligence and reporting environment, various administrative and academic applications, and the integrations which connect on-premise, third-party and cloud/hosted services with the Academy’s existing infrastructure.

The Associate Director standardizes and stabilizes operations, manages application and system development life cycles, and implements industry best practices and standards, to ensure stability, reliability, and security of enterprise applications. The Associate Director leverages maximum utility from existing systems and applications, and ensures that integration between on-premise and cloud systems, applications, and services, facilitate the secure and efficient flow of data between platforms. The Associate Director is an exceptional communicator and collaborator and serves as a key leader and partner in the planning, design, and implementation of a broad set of administrative and academic applications, databases, and services. The Associate Director works closely with the Technology leadership team to set strategy, plans and budgets for products and services. Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems or related field such as Computer Science, programming, or engineering, software engineering or development, computer or information systems, information technology
