Secondary 9-12 English Teacher

The West Burlington Independent School District is seeking a High School English/Language Arts teacher for the 2021-2022 school year. West Burlington is looking for a highly motivated teaching professional responsible for developing the intellectual, social/emotional, and physical needs of the students in the classroom. West Burlington is a progressive school district that invites innovation in the classroom and is working on moving to standards based grading. The District will look at candidates who have their secondary Language Arts endorsement or able to get a temporary certification and willing to take classes to complete it. Applicants that hold a conditional license and/or substitute authorization will also be considered.
