OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST
Occupational Therapist
CRMC is looking for an Occupational Therapist to join our rehabilitation team!
Position
- Full time, 40 hour work week
Responsibilities
- Lead occupational therapist for CRMC’s pediatric rehabilitation services
- Works on a skilled rehabilitation team that consists of 2 OTs, Speech Therapist, 6 PTs and 2 PTAs
- Evaluates individuals who have medical problems or other health related conditions that limit their abilities to perform functional activities in their daily lives
- Develops, implements and delegates treatment plan with individualized goals to promote the ability to perform ADLs and IADLs, restore function and prevent disability
- Communicates and collaborates the plan of care with persons served, families and the interdisciplinary team
- Competency in outpatient, inpatient and home health settings with variety of ages and diagnoses
Qualifications
· Graduate from an approved school of Occupational Therapy (accredited by the American Occupational Therapy
Association).
· Current licensure in good standing to practice as an Occupational Therapist in Iowa
· Current BLS
· Strong interpersonal skills, effective verbal and written communication and organizational skills. Ability to provide complete documentation in a timely manner. Self-directed with the ability to work with little supervision. Flexible and cooperative in fulfilling role obligations and ability to work with an interdisciplinary team.
