Summer Internships
As part of our focus on the future, we hire many interns in a variety of areas of the business each year. The goal of our internship program is to give you wonderful hands-on, real-life experience and to attract and develop future employees and leaders in our cooperative.
Internships generally run from May until August but there is flexibility to start early or work into the fall for many internships. We have received feedback that our internships are very hands-on, allow independence, and offer opportunities to explore other areas of the business. We also like to have some fun along the way!
Internship Outline:
- Day one orientation, cookout, and networking
- Connect with your mentor outside your department
- Work on one or two main projects throughout the internship
- Successfully complete day to day work items
- Compete in weekly photo contest
- Maintain weekly report outs of progress and future plans
- Attend intern only collaboration events
- Do ride-a-longs to see other parts of the cooperative
- Report out on your main projects and internship experience
Required Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Organization and time management skills
- Strong with technology
- Work hard
- Ask questions
- Eager to learn new things
- Team player
- Good interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated

- Have fun!
Education and Experience:
- Currently enrolled in short course, associate, or bachelor degree program
- 3.0 or higher GPA preferred
