Brand Marketing Intern (Spring 2022)

The position will be based out of and report to our Minneapolis office, which is an extension of the brand marketing team at FH St. Louis: the global headquarters for one of the largest, most prestigious communications agencies in the world. For our upcoming Spring internship session, we are seeking highly qualified candidates to work with and learn from some of the very best professionals in the industry.

This full-time paid Spring internship is 40 hours per week that runs from January 13 - May 26, 2022.


Responsibilities

We are looking for individuals who have excellent writing skills, experience with media relations, are passionate about communications and bring an eagerness to learn. The FleishmanHillard experience provides the opportunity to grow personally and professionally through exposure to client service and the inner workings of a global, integrated communications firm. 
 
Interns have the opportunity to be a part of the account staff teams and assist with campaigns from conception to execution, developing media materials, building relationships with journalists, conducting research, drafting online content calendars and other account-related activities.


Qualifications

Qualified candidates will have at least a 3.2 GPA, previous relevant internship experience(s) and completed their junior year of college, though recent graduates are preferred. Basic job requirements include excellent written and oral communications skills, an innate curiosity, strong time management, and a desire to learn in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment. All candidates must also exhibit a desire and motivation to learn and the ability to work as part of a team.

  • Writing samples (two if possible): Examples would be something written for a classroom assignment or previous internship (press release, pitch letter, media kit, social media calendar), a campus newspaper or magazine article, or an essay, blog post, letter, or memo of some sort
