Certification:
- Meet elementary education certification requirements of the Department of Education
- State of Iowa
- Reading Endorsement required
Experience:
- Prior successful teaching experience required
- Evidence of contributions to a professional learning community and team
- Evidence of helping create a positive working and learning environment
- Evidence of effective teaching as demonstrated in student data
- History of excellent attendance in prior work settings
Skills Required:
- Demonstrates competence in classroom management
- Ability to understand and use data to inform instructional decisions for student success
- Work in a collaborative team to plan and prepare for instruction
- Engage in professional growth at both the building and district level
- Good communicator with staff, students, and families
