Finance & Accounting Internship - Summer 2022
We are recruiting several interns for the Finance department at Athene. Internship area may include Investment Accounting, Treasury, Expense Processing, Accounting Operations, Internal Audit, General Accounting and Sales Reporting. Qualified candidates must be enrolled at an accredited college or university for Fall term 2022.
Accountabilities:
- Students are expected to work independently and will be responsible for ownership of their portion of a project or task once they have been properly trained.
- Students are encouraged to add value and provide recommendations for improvements to processes and systems by applying their experience and knowledge.
- Students will maintain a log evaluating each project assigned and prepare an evaluation of the experience in order to improve the quality of future projects.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Entering Junior or Senior (3rd or 4th) year in the Fall of 2022
- Proficient communication and organizational skills
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and a proactive approach to accomplishing tasks
- Well-rounded and self-starter
- Interested in pursuing a career in Finance or Accounting
- Significant experience using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
PREFERRED:
- Previous internship experience
- Accounting/Audit/Finance Specialization
