Safety & Occupational Health Specialist
Seeking potential candidates for Environmental Safety and Health program at FBI HQ campus located on Redstone Arsenal, in Huntsville, Alabama. Focus on degrees that would support safety and health on an enterprise service campus, with a professional team that values creating and establishing a durable, effective, and resilient safety culture. Responsibilities would include, but are not limited to, understanding and interpreting federal, state and local safety requirements and regulations; assisting with implementation of policies and procedures to ensure that operations are compliant; investigating and providing technical solutions to problems or questions/concerns received from within organization; interacting with personnel to resolve safety health and environmental issues; collaborating to create electronic safety/health tools and resources to support learning culture; tracking, monitoring and reporting on safety operations across area of responsibility; reviewing pre-work plans for operations and construction; coordinating and assisting in carrying out internal safety reviews; assisting the safety health and environmental office in the development of strategic planning activities to ensure attainable path of improvement is established.
