Freelance Tech Writer - Apple and iOS

Screen Rant is the #1 independent entertainment website on the web, and our Tech Team is looking for a writers with an in-depth knowledge of Apple and iOS.

We are connecting with senior students and recent graduates who are interested in developing their skills, gaining experience, and making valuable industry connections. If you are plugged into all things tech (product leaks, laptops, headphones, smartwatches, desktop computers, soundbars, TVs, tablets, phones, streaming devices, monitors, cameras, apps) and you consider yourself to be an excellent writer, we want to hear from you. 

As a freelance writer for Screen Rant, you will be able to set your own schedule and work as little or as much as you like. You will work with a dedicated team to create original and informative articles. We need you to be a self-starting, hard-working and dynamic writer who can produce compelling while adhering to our website's strict publication standards.

If you have a passion for entertainment and technology, this is an opportunity to turn that passion into a stable writing job. While writers are encouraged to produce as much content as they can, this role would also be ideal for part-time applicants who are looking to supplement their studies or day jobs. This role is entirely remote.

Requirements:
  • Mastery of the English language
  • Apple/iOS expertise
  • Superior writing skills
  • Willingness to accept and apply critical feedback
  • Ability to quickly learn (and master) the Screen Rant style and structure with few revisions and little editorial intervention required

Nice-to-haves:
  • Editing experience
  • SEO experience
  • Image editing skills (Photoshop, Illustrator)
