Supply Chain Consultant

Company Overview:
Gibson Consulting G-4 (Gibson or GCG) is a management consulting firm specializing in Global Strategic Sourcing and Supply Chain change management initiatives for Fortune 500, Fortune 1000, Middle Market, and Private Equity firms. We are located in Chicago, IL, but our consultants spend most of their time serving clients in the field both domestically and abroad. As a small, boutique consulting firm, we try very hard to avoid frustrating administrative restrictions found in our consulting industry such as; internal “check-the-box” activities, bell curve rating models, time-in-role promotion limitations, inability to institute any meaningful change and best practice improvements, etc. We strive to do the “right thing” for our team members so they can spend the majority of their time engaged with clients driving real, meaningful change.

At Gibson, we consider our people the heart and soul of our firm. By hiring and retaining an amazing assortment of smart and talented professionals, we’ve created an atmosphere that feels energized, exciting, and alive. We challenge our employees to rise above the “everyday consultant”, and truly have an impact and presence with our clients at all levels, including Executive Management (i.e., it is not uncommon for all levels below Partner to be included in C-Suite meetings). At Gibson Consulting, everyone contributes. Our philosophy, “best idea wins” is in action daily, giving individuals a chance to impact our firm and our clients on all levels and have their best-in-class ideas/thoughts heard and implemented. By investing in our team members, we invest in our work quality, client relationships and future.
