Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in a Graduate or Undergraduate Program.
- Familiarity with Windows and Microsoft programs.
- Working knowledge of Waterloo/Cedar Falls resources and community agencies.
- Training in ACES & Trauma informed care and/or the willingness to learn
- Adhere to confidentiality in all work with program participants, their children and donors

Duties
- Work with Volunteer Coordinator on scheduling, training, and communicating with volunteers.
- Oversee Wednesda night childcare, training and supervising all volunteers.
- Observe Life-skills class, prepare and teach one class during the internship
- Sit in on Wellness case manager meetings with one or two moms, then work with women on goals in the areas of wellness, employment and parenting as a follow-up.
- Assist Development Coordinator with fundraisers by securing donations, entering data, working with volunteers, and participating in set up/tear down of event.
- Assist Office Manager with quarterly newsletters, donor acknowledgements, and maintenance of donor database.
- Answer phones, accept in kind donations, and other administrative tasks.
- Attend staff meetings, shadow all positions, and participate in discussions/upkeep on policies and procedures.
- Attend Finance Committee meetings to learn and understand financial statements.
- Attend interagency meetings to learn about other agencies and how they intersect.
- Along with staff, organize, clean, and otherwise help keep up the daily activities.
