Social Media Development Internship

Over the course of three months, the intern will complete three projects related to developing the Date With The Muse YouTube channel and the Writing Gym Podcast. 

This internship is 100% remote and requires no more than 10 hours a week for three months. This internship is great for individuals who are aspiring to jobs in marketing, publicity and sales. Interested individuals should have some familiarity with YouTube’s uploading system, Search Engine Optimization, marketable graphic design using Canva and video editing. Experience with Adobe Premiere or similar programs is preferred. Individuals who are critical thinkers, problem solvers and excellent time managers are great candidates.

By the end of this internship, you will have experience in the Social Jukebox program, YouTube, Canva and basic video production. You will have completed three projects to list on your resume including one project you will have creative direction in. 

This position reports to the Executive Assistant. 

After onboarding, tasks include:
  • Scheduling an archive of social media content in Social Jukebox
  • Editing clips from the podcast into an existing video format for YouTube
  • Scheduling videos into YouTube on an upload schedule
  • Updating internal documents to reflect the upload schedule
  • Creating three new social media templates and implementing them

Valuable Experience: 
  • Experience in Canva
  • Experience with Adobe Premiere or comparable program
  • Knowledge of Google Drive 
  • Knowledge of task management applications (Trello)
