High School Counselor
The Counselor is responsible to provide a comprehensive counseling program focused on learning, personal/social and college placement needs of all students.
Essential Functions:
- Enthusiastically practice and promote the Marist Mission of NDPMA.
- Provide direct support services to individual students, small groups and classrooms when necessary.
- Completes assessments and referrals for all students.
- Assists students with scholarship, college entrance and financial aid applications.
- Advise students regarding accuracy and completeness of records and credits.
- Make recommendations to students regarding class selections.
- Evaluate credits from outside sources for newly enrolling students.
- Coordinate school wide testing programs.
- Complete reports as required by Federal, State and local agencies.
- Other duties as assigned.
