RD&A Summer Intern

We are seeking a highly motivated Research & Development (R&D) Intern to join the Corbion team in Lenexa, KS. The successful candidate should be passionate about conducting bakery science research in bakery applications and bakery ingredient functionalities and interactions. 
 
Responsibilities:
  • Under general supervision, work on a project to be completed by the end of summer
  • Present research findings to R&D team
  • Assist and execute bakery and non-bakery projects along with R&D Scientists to address the needs of our customers
  • Report/discuss work status and other critical information with peers and R&D management
  • Be flexible in taking additional tasks as needed to support business goals
  • Assist in maintaining a lab environment that is clean, organized, and work ready
  • Cultivate a team atmosphere with peer groups and upper management
 
Requirements: 
Progress towards a Bachelor's or a Master's degree in Bakery Science, Food Science, Cereal Chemistry, or related fields. AIB, technical training or previous experience a plus.
