3rd Grade Teacher

Then, our 3rd Grade Teacher position may be right for you!

As a 3rd Grade Teacher you will create a flexible elementary grade program and a class environment favorable to learning and personal growth, establish effective rapport with pupils, motivate your students to skills, attitudes and needed provide a good foundation for elementary grade education, in accordance with their ability, and establish relationships with parents and with other staff members.

To be successful in this position, you will teach District approved curriculum, develop lesson plans to create learning opportunities that area developmentally appropriate, evaluate students' needs and make appropriate referrals for additional support, develop, prepare, and organize instructional materials, demonstrate effective behavior management strategies, and work effectively with small groups or individual students.

Qualifications for the position include a valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with an Elementary Grades (Grades 1-6).

The starting salary for the 2022-2023 school year is not less than $45,836.73. Previous experience is considered when determining a final salary. For a full listing of our benefits, please visit our HR link here
