Rotational Program Spring Intern

LRT Sports internship is a 10-week semester-long remote program that is broken down into five rotations. You will spend at least 2 weeks in each rotation (rotations are subject to change based on time of year):
  • Business Development, Digital Marketing, Content Creation, Editorial, Ratings Generation
  • The last 2 weeks you will be able to customized based on what you enjoyed working on during the other 4 rotations
This remote internship will allow you to continue your studies and sport and/or extracurriculars, all while being on campus or at home. You will have the ability to be on the ground at a startup and see everything that entails running a business. With direct access to management and the ability to make real time decisions for the company, your voice will be heard, and your work will be impactful from the start. This internship is demanding and challenging, but through the rotational program, you will learn what you do and don't enjoy about the workforce in a meaningful way. We do hire certain jobs from this program. It's important to note, that any individual who is considering this program is creative, detail oriented, able to think outside the box, decisive, and, most importantly, comfortable with all levels communication (meaning with peers, management, and even people outside of the company). We engage with our interns daily through Slack, and work is handed in through Google Drive on a weekly basis.
Expectations from the internship are that you are messaging in Slack on a daily basis, handing in quality work on time, always being honest & transparent with staff, and communication is THE most important aspect of the internship.
This internship is a three or four credit experience, it is not paid. Students should consult with academic faculty to determine if this unpaid experience will earn credit.
LRT Sports is a one of a kind remote, rotational internship program. We have had the same remote structure for our program for the past 5 years, giving us an advantage over other internships that just started their remote programs. We generally have an internship class size ranging from 10-30 interns. Over 300 interns from across the country have graduated from our internship program, from schools such as: Skidmore College, Yale University, Stanford University, Harvard University, University of Alabama, and much more.
