Human Resources Project Management Intern – Fall 2022 through Spring 2023

What You'll Do: In this role, you will work closely with our total rewards team to effectively implement and communicate total reward strategies and initiatives.  You will also work closely with our Talent Acquisition team to complete full cycle recruiting for all of our interns. The main duties will include:
·       Recruiting all company interns.
·       Helping to create content for our internal TV channel.
·       Assisting with the creating of employment related content that will be used on social media.
·       Assisting with the facilitation of new hire events and being involved in various onboarding activities.

As an intern, you will also participate in corporate activities that give you a sense of our industry, our company, and help you understand our culture firsthand. Our internship program holds an 80/10/10 approach, meaning that 80% of your work time will involve performing tasks or working on projects within your hired work area. Another 10% of the time, you will be exposed to learning in other areas within your assigned division to get more corporate experience. Then, the final 10% will be spent in shared experiences across the organization, where you will get to really learn about our culture and work environment.

What It Takes to Join Our Team:
·       Be a current student, working toward a human resources, business administration, communications, online learning, adult education, marketing, or similar degree.
·       Be passionate about learning new things and be tech savvy (ability to learn new systems quickly is a must)
·       Be an effective communicator.
·       Exceptional writing skills are critical for success in this role.
·       Be creative and familiar (or willing to learn) social media platforms (primarily Instagram).
·       Photography skills and prior knowledge of Canva a plus but not required.
·       Be available to work 12-15 hours per week Fall 2022 – May 2023, in our office in West Des Moines, IA.
