The Lexington Clipper Herald, a Lee Enterprises publication, is seeking a flexible and dynamic reporter to cover all area high school, community, and local area sporting and recreational events. The successful candidate will write and document compelling stories, which engage the community via traditional writing, social media platforms, photo galleries and videography.
Are you Ready?
Do you enjoy local and high school sports? Do you enjoy getting to know community members? Do you enjoy covering sports via writing, video, and photos? Are you energetic with solid writing skills, have knowledge of AP style, have the ability to cultivate and establish solid sources, and able to take video and photos of events and engage in both written and digital journalism? If so, this may be the role for you! A degree in journalism or a related field is preferred and new graduates are welcome to apply!
