Account Support Advisor Internship

We Are Looking to Add an Account Support Advisor Intern to our Team!
If you answered yes to any of the questions above, then this Account Support Intern role is for you! We are dedicated to finding the best and brightest students from college campuses in order to build our bench strength in the Account Support Function. The scheduling for our internship is flexible to allow the Intern to match their school schedule with GreatAmerica’s workplace needs.
The Intern will complete the Customer Service training, specifically tailored to address End Users with their questions that originate through our communication channels. Additional time will be spent in company trainings to gain an understanding of the different business units and functions. The Intern will spend time within a team environment to get hands on experience of what working in a team is like. During the time spent in Account Support, the intern would learn ‘Office Life’ topics to help them feel confident when entering the work force. At the end of the internship, the intern will have the opportunity to present their review of a case study to Leadership which utilizes and shares their knowledge and experiences gained throughout the internship.   

As an Account Support Advisor Intern you'll,

  • Be responsible fore inbound & outbound customer service interactions with the goal of one contact resolution
  • Accurately navigate Salesforce and document work appropriately
  • Have the ability to provide good oral and written correspondence with all internal and external customers
  • Take a consultative approach to identify appropriate solutions
  • Understand and abide by account security procedures for all interactions
  • Live the GreatAmerica principles
  • Perform miscellaneous duties as required
  • Present to Account Support Leadership at end of Intern Experience
To be successful in this role you'll need

  • To have full-time student status in a 2-year or 4-year program, ideally seeking a degree in a business-related field or in a Customer Service certificate training program
  • Previous customer service experience is a plus, but not required
  • Excellent customer service skills combined with a high degree of accountability, tenacity, motivation and empathy
