Family Office Services (FOS) Accountant Intern (Summer 2023)

Responsibilities


  • Review invoices to ensure required details are included
  • Accurately enter invoices for payment, including vendor details and general ledger coding, into Oracle accounting system
  • Enter journal entries to record various transactions
  • Prepare monthly bank and/or balance sheet reconciliations for assigned client entities
  • Assist with month end process
  • Prepare monthly vendor summaries as needed
  • Assist in preparing financial reports and statements, including monthly balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Assist in preparing quarterly client expense reporting
  • Assist in preparing quarterly and/or annual tax return deliverables
  • Support FOS client teams


Qualifications


  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration/Economics with a concentration in Accounting
  • Final graduation dates (w/150 semester/225 quarter units +required accounting and ethic units completed to become a licensed CPA) from December 2023 – June 2024
  • History of academic and extracurricular success
  • Possess the utmost integrity and uphold client confidentiality
  • Self- motivated, strong attention to detail, with excellent problem solving, verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to prioritize responsibilities, multitask in fast-paced environments, and work successfully in independent and team settings
  • Ability to process rush items or otherwise meet daily deadlines
