E-COMMERCE AND MARKETING INTERN

We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented intern to create and implement an E-Commerce strategy for our website and social media platforms. This intern will work closely with our vendors and in creating an on-line and a direct sales strategy to market our branded apparel. This person must have an interest and understanding of how creating a media plan is crucial to the branding and sales of tournament apparel. The tasks will range from keeping our site up to date with the latest inventory, merchandising the site according to new arrivals, planning social media posts, and ordering product to be sold on-site. This intern will have the chance to be challenged both creatively and analytically, while adding value to Seminole Sports. If you have a desire to be an entrepreneur, this is an experience that can help you find your way.
 
 Responsibilities Include: 
 ·       Integrate product offerings content into our website
·        Updating our site with new product information
·        Posting a blog, editorial images, and any ongoing sales
·        Contribute to new processes that streamline e-commerce workflow
·        Create an email marketing campaign to send to our teams bi-monthly
·        Coordinate ad campaign promoting new incoming offerings

 Requirements:
 ·       Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Project, Visio)
·        Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
·        Extremely organized, diligent, detail-oriented and motivated
·        Eagerness to learn and expand our product lines

Particulars:
  • The program starts in May and runs through the end of July
  • Over this period you will be expected to work at least 200 hours
  • An average of 20 hours per week on Friday, Saturday or Sunday
  • We provide a clear description of each learning module
  • You will gain insight into a youth sports organization’s culture, its value to young athletes and benefits to the community
  • This is a real work experience for you which provides meaningful assistance to our company
  • It will assist the intern to develop and achieve learning goals
  • We provide you a mentor that offers regular feedback to you
  • You will establish a network of other interns and professionals that can help you make well-informed decisions about your career and connect you with career opportunities
  • This experience will provide you with a portfolio of work that you can submit to your university for college credit

Pay periods are the 1st and 15th of each month. End of year bonuses will be paid based on merit.
