Operations and Supply Chain Summer Intern

Lil’ Drug Store Products is hiring an Operations and Supply Chain Intern who will assist the operations team in meeting both departmental and corporate objectives. This individual will have the opportunity to become an instrumental part of the daily supply chain activities including reporting, analytics, purchase order creation and maintenance, pricing negotiations, and supplier management.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support the operations team on a daily basis
- Participate in operational meetings
- Develop supplier scorecards and assist with reporting of supply chain objectives and KPIs
- Generate process and quality specification documents for critical supply chain functions
- Assist with or lead an improvement project, including data collection plan and results analysis
- Access and navigate ERP and applicable applications
- Perform data collection, spreadsheet creation, and data analysis
- Work with forecasting/inventory management team to minimize risk by predicting product demand
- Other duties and projects as assigned
Education and Experience:
- Current undergraduate student pursuing a degree in business, industrial engineering, or relevant field
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)
