Multi-Cultural Intern
Essential Functions
The Multicultural Marketing intern will be expected to:
- Monitor key audience and industry trends, as well as competitor activity – being prepared to provide regular updates and formulate a point of view.
- Assist in events, promotions, and campaign development – including writing creative briefs, providing feedback, managing timelines and budgets.
- Support development of Hispanic/Latino online resource center.
- Play key role in gathering and organizing member materials to be translated and uploaded to employer group resource center.
- Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled student at a four-year university in an undergraduate or graduate program with an overall grade point average of 3.0 or better. If in an undergraduate program, the student will be a junior or senior.
- The individual's area of study must be related to marketing, communications, or related degree.
- Interest in multi-cultural/international marketing a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Need to be self-motivated and be able to carry out activities with a minimum of supervision.
- Ability to maintain confidentially of sensitive data required.
- Understanding of the Hispanic/Latino market preferred.
- Adobe Creative Suite skills (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) a plus.
Compensation
$25.00 per hour
*Opportunity for hybrid work schedule.
