Multi-Cultural Intern

Essential Functions
The Multicultural Marketing intern will be expected to:

  • Monitor key audience and industry trends, as well as competitor activity – being prepared to provide regular updates and formulate a point of view.
  • Assist in events, promotions, and campaign development – including writing creative briefs, providing feedback, managing timelines and budgets.
  • Support development of Hispanic/Latino online resource center.
  • Play key role in gathering and organizing member materials to be translated and uploaded to employer group resource center.
  • Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled student at a four-year university in an undergraduate or graduate program with an overall grade point average of 3.0 or better. If in an undergraduate program, the student will be a junior or senior.
  • The individual's area of study must be related to marketing, communications, or related degree.
  • Interest in multi-cultural/international marketing a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Need to be self-motivated and be able to carry out activities with a minimum of supervision.
  • Ability to maintain confidentially of sensitive data required.
  • Understanding of the Hispanic/Latino market preferred.
  • Adobe Creative Suite skills (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) a plus.

Compensation
$25.00 per hour

*Opportunity for hybrid work schedule.
