Leading Edge Sales and Marketing Internship
Leading Edge Fundraising raises money for high school, youth, and college sports teams.
This role is designed for someone looking to gain sales, marketing, advertising or management experience. This program will teach basic skills in sales as well as provide real world experience that translates into more and better opportunities after college.
This summer we will be marketing high school teams to business owners in order to increase revenue for sports across Iowa. The selected intern will learn all parts of the sales process and will be trained by veteran sales representatives in the field and in classroom training. The hired candidate will call on business owners face to face, by phone, and by email and sell free advertisement space on athletic fundraising discount products and mobile advertising in exchange for valuable offers.
In this position, the intern hired will educate prospective and established customers on new mobile app offers available through team fundraising efforts. This internship was created to mentor athletic and business minded individuals in the hopes of retaining interns to eventually work full time with Leading Edge Fundraising.
Intern will be compensated per merchant signed and or resigned and will be also be compensated for acquiring mobile discounts with new or existing customers. When the internship is completed, a letter of recommendation will be written from the company owner to help in the next step in their career.
