Actuarial and Data Reporting Group

Data Reporting Analyst

Purpose

To support Actuarial & Data Reporting Group at AAIS.

Job Responsibilities
·      Requirements gathering, documentation, narrating requirements
·      Testing output (example reports) based on requirements
·      Research and analysis (i.e. Data Harmonization)
·      Performing some distribution or data analysis in excel or reporting tools
·      Present findings to ADR team
·      Collaborate with both Actuarial and non-Actuarial colleagues

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
  • Be a critical thinker and a problem solver
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Microsoft Office – intermediate to advanced Excel
  • SQL – basic to intermediate is a plus
  • Pyton - basic to intermediate is a plus
  • P&C Insurance knowledge is a plus
Learning Opportunities
·      Microsoft Office (i.e Excel & VBA)
·      Property-casualty insurance concepts
·      Data Visualization tools like Tableau, Lucid or similar

Requirements
·      Currently enrolled in undergraduate degree program or attainment of bachelor’s degree in math; statistics; actuarial sciences; data analytics
