Position: Investment Banking Summer Analyst

Description
The Investment Banking Summer Analyst position offers the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of client transactions and business development efforts. The position will work alongside our banking professionals from the Analyst through Managing Director level. You will gain exposure to a variety of transactions across industries including public equity offerings, private offerings, mergers & acquisitions, and other corporate financial advisory services. This position is open to candidates entering their senior year of their undergraduate education. Strong candidates will have an avid interest in the capital markets and a demonstrated record of professional, academic, and personal achievement.
Responsibilities
Assisting in the preparation of marketing materials (pitch books, corporate profiles, market data/analysis, and other client materials).
Conducting research, valuation analysis, and assisting in the execution of advisory services.
Research on small and micro-cap public companies and various industries to support marketing efforts and deal execution.
Qualifications
Strong academic record while pursuing an undergraduate degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
Interest in finance, accounting, investment banking, consulting, or a related field.
Advanced excel and PowerPoint skills, strong financial modeling skills, and superior quantitative and analytical ability.
Outstanding organizational and time management skills with the ability to master complex tasks with minimal supervision.
Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
Entrepreneurial and highly motivated.
Highly preferential to candidates entering their senior year.
