2024 Fixed Income Summer Internship Program

Summary:
Are you passionate about markets? Do you want to use data to capture opportunities and come up with solutions to real-time market problems? Do you enjoy conducting research to develop insights about companies and industries? NB’s Fixed Income team is seeking highly motivated, intellectually curious, and rigorous thinkers to join our Fixed Income Platform. Placements within the teams for the summer will span credit research, trading and portfolio analyst positions. Successful interns will be invited to join our two-year Rotational Program upon graduation.
What to Expect: Receive training and mentorship from experienced investment professionals while expanding your knowledge of markets and the economy. Partner with portfolio managers, research analysts, and traders to perform in-depth industry and company research, analyze and optimize portfolios and learn how to take risk through trades. Jump start your career with our analytical and collaborative teams.

Qualifications:
  • December 2024 or Spring 2025 Bachelor’s degree candidates with a strong academic record (MS candidates with limited prior full-time work experience are also welcome to apply)
  • Interest in financial markets and investing
  • Ability to work both collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced and evolving environment
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and aptitude for quickly learning new skills and technologies
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Compensation Details

The salary range for this role is $80,000-$85,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in New York City. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.Note: No amount of pay is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable. The amount and availability of any bonus, commission, production, or any other form of compensation that are allocable to a particular employee remains in the Company's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified at the Company’s sole discretion, consistent with the law.
