Competitive Sports Coordinator

Impact & Responsibilities: Manages the administration and operation of the intramural and sports club programs, including scheduling, communications, marketing, equipment purchasing, and overseeing budget; prepares annual intramural program calendar; determines activity offerings; supervises officials, event staff, and student supervisors; plans and prepares promotional materials; coordinates award systems; and inventories equipment.
 
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in physical education, recreation management or related field; at least one year of intramural or recreation related experience; strong written and oral communication skills; strong customer service skills; and ability to model sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socio-economic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds of students in the creation of a welcoming and inclusive environment.
Student experience will be considered. Serving in a rotating on-call capacity for supervision of social and recreational activities, including nights and weekends will be necessary.
 
Preferred: Certification in First Aid, CPR/AED and Bloodborne Pathogens.
