We are currently hiring qualified candidates for an Activities Director position part-time (40 to 71 hours per pay period) opportunity is available.
Candidates must have the following:
· Completed state-approved Activities Director coursework or associates/bachelor’s degree in an applicable field.
· Has a strong knowledge base of state regulations regarding long-term care facilities and activities programs.
· The demonstrated skillset of competencies with elderly individuals in the long-term care activities setting.
· Being able to plan and schedule an activities program based on individualized and group needs based on residents’ interests, talents, previous lifestyles, and schedules. Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure residents’ needs are being met.
· Being able to develop and operate within an approved budget and spending plan laid out by the administrator.
· Being able to use resident inclination to determine care plan concerns related to activities program needs while using proper documentation standards.
