Description:
· Performs various less complex professional accounting assignments requiring knowledge of Business Unit, Company policy, or accounting theory.
· Includes coordinating, preparing and analyzing financial information and reports that provide summary information for management use in making Company financial decisions.
Duties:
· Prepares various daily, monthly, quarterly, or annual financial/cost reports, statements, or exhibits. Records routine or recurring transactions.
· Gathers, reviews, and assists in analyzing statistical information.
· Makes necessary corrections and/or adjustments to receive accurate report information.
· Performs complex account reconciliations.
Major Duties may include:
· Publish reports, understand the reports you publish and be able to answer questions
· Monthly
· Quarterly
· Various degrees of complexity and preparation requirements
· Good understanding of Excel and functions such as vlookups, pivot tables, and charts
· Analyze price change requests
· Support the price and material adjustment process
· Validate parts are correct JD Parts
· Validate current prices match
· Validate if material rate change is valid
· Review for outliers
· Investigate or escalate
· Update system with validated information.
· Update system with current rate information
Specific Position Requirements:
· Forecasting
· Manage specific council’s Material Place Holders (forecast tool)
· Meet with Supply Base Managers as need to ensure a robust forecast for raw materials.
· Assist in month-end activities related to updating forecasts in the CMS system
· Other support as required in maintaining projects in the Cost Management System (CMS)
· New system
· Responsible for dual loading of projects in the new forecast system and CMS
· Work with suppliers and Supply Base Managers to mass upload part level detail and other pertinent information in the new automated material adjustment system.
· Assist with validation of the uploads to ensure data integrity is high
· Spreadsheet skills critical
· Good communication skills

· Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially with Excel
· Strong proficiency working virtually, especially with Microsoft Teams

· A degree is required for these positions (Technical Degree, Associates Degree, or 4-Year Degree will all be accepted)
