Functional Description:

The Supply Chain Finance program is a fast-track training program for key finance/accounting positions within the PepsiCo Supply Chain organization. The entry point for this program is the Supply Chain Finance Assistant Analyst position, which is part of a broader program including other operations and technical disciplines. The Supply Chain Finance Assistant Analyst will report directly to the Plant Controller, and the role is expected to last approximately 18-24 months. Successful program participants will have the skills and experiences to succeed in multiple cross-functional Finance roles within the broader PepsiCo network (corporate/field).
Responsibilities


What you can expect:

Supply Chain Finance responsibilities include training and experience in a broad range of accounting processes and financial analyses, including:


Accounting Process:

  • Accounting Period Close related tasks
  • Forecasting methods
  • Cost and variance analysis
  • Annual Operating Plan development


Financial Analysis:

  • Timely completion of assigned project work including process improvement and ad hoc analysis
  • Management reporting of financial results including calculating and communicating Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Innovation costing
  • Capital investment analytics & discounted cash flow (DCF) models
  • Key partner with the Supply Chain operations teams
In addition, the Supply Chain Finance Assistant Analyst will participate in the broader Supply Chain Finance program, including:
  • Exposure to other Supply Chain functions and disciplines through defined cross-functional project work and participating on an operations improvement team
  • Build affiliation with other Supply Chain Finance Assistant Analysts in the program
  • Provide feedback on your overall experiences in the program and participate in campus recruiting

Qualifications



What we’re looking for:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in: Finance and/or Accounting (other related majors will be considered)
  • Demonstrated interest in cost accounting and operations through coursework or internships
  • Strong people/communication skills to manage information gathering requests
  • Results oriented, able to complete assignments in a timely and accurate manner, and the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft products
  • Interested in career growth within PepsiCo after 18-24 months in the program


Minimum Qualifications - Each candidate is expected to:

  • Be completing their final year of undergraduate studies
  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree prior to the intended full time start date
  • This position is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States

  • The expected compensation range for this role based on a full-time schedule is $62,100 – $85,000
  • Role, degree discipline, degree level, and location are part of the process when determining actual starting salary for positions
  • Compensation for our campus hires is pre-determined and non-negotiable
