Supply Chain Analyst - Seed Operations Development Program

Corteva Agriscience has an exciting opportunity to join our organization as a Supply Chain Analyst as part of the Seed Operations Development Program. The Seed Operations Development Program is two-year program that offers job training and targeted career development for select college graduates through wide exposure and high-touch experiences within the Corteva Agriscience Seed Business. It is designed to provide early career hires with the necessary knowledge, experience, and skills to fill future leadership positions within Corteva.  

The entry level Supply Chain candidate will participate in the Seed Operations Development Program and will have end to end rotational experiences across the North America Supply Chain. 

Responsibilities will include:

  • Sales and Operational Planning
  • Master Production Scheduling
  • Quality and Characterization
  • Distribution
  • Allocation of Inventory
  • Commercial Supply Planning

This role will experience working in number product lines such as corn, soybeans, canola, cotton, wheat.    

This position will be based at the Corteva Global Business Center in Johnston, Iowa. Position start dates will be January 2024 and/or June 2024.  

Qualifications

  • Minimum of bachelor’s degree in agriculture, supply chain or other related field with broad interest in the agriculture industry
  • Internship or work experience within Agriculture or Supply Chain preferred
  • Willingness to learn all aspects of seed production and supply chain operations
  • Willingness to travel as necessary
  • Strong communication skills (oral and written)
  • Teamwork and leadership skills
  • Strong computer and analytical skills
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders 
  • Work effectively within a team environment
  • Lead and influence teams/projects
  • Knowledge of production agriculture and supply chain science
  • Supervisory and team leadership skills
