The Illinois Department of Children and Family Services is seeking an organized, professional, and results oriented individual to serve as Residential Monitoring Supervisor. This position will plan, supervise, review, and coordinate the activities of a team of professional child welfare staff engaged in the monitoring of residential facilities, institutions and group homes (IGH), and independent living operations/transitional living programs. Additionally, the position will monitor progress in meeting goals and objectives and will identify individual instances and patterns of performance problems that require intervention by the Department.
Minimum Qualifications
- Requires an MSW or master’s degree in a related human services field.
- Requires three years of child welfare direct service administrative experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3 years of professional experience conducting program monitoring activities in a public or business organization.
- 3 years of professional management experience in a public or business organization.
- 3 years of experience supervising professional staff.
- 3 years of professional experience conducting analysis of complex data in a public or business organization.
- 3 years of professional experience in the development of corrective action plans.
