Marketing and Operations Intern (Design Focus)

We are in search of a creative and motivated Marketing and Operations Intern with a robust background in design to join our dynamic team. This role is perfectly suited for someone who is passionate about crafting compelling visual content and is keen to apply their design skills in a fast-paced and evolving industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaboratively work with the marketing team to generate visually appealing and effective designs for our social media platforms and marketing materials.
  • Aid in the development and execution of design strategies that align with our marketing objectives and brand identity.
  • Create a range of graphic content, including but not limited to social media posts, advertisements, and promotional materials.
  • Operate under the supervision of the Director of Marketing and Operations and the CFO to maintain consistency and quality in all design outputs.
  • Engage in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas for marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Assist with various operational tasks related to marketing and promotions as required.

Qualifications:

  • Current enrollment or recent graduation from a bachelor’s degree program in Business, Communications, Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in graphic design software, specifically Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and/or Canva, is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft and Google G Suite products.
  • A strong portfolio that showcases design skills and creativity.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • A passion for the cannabis industry and an eagerness to contribute to its growth and success.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age, in compliance with the legal working age within the cannabis industry in Illinois.
