Research Analyst Internship

Research Analyst Internship Position

During the 12-week internship with the Firm, the research analyst's primary focus will be to execute a major project, known as the Crist|Kolder Volatility Report. This annual research study examines the volatility of movement at the CEO, COO, and CFO levels of the top publicly traded companies in the United States. Each year, this report consistently garners press from such publications as The Wall Street Journal, Business Week, Forbes, The Economist, and the Financial Times.

Research analysts also work on direct client-facing projects over the course of their internship, including analyzing industry trends and developing knowledge of specific companies and their leadership. Our client portfolio is a diverse mix, including Fortune 500 companies, private equity firms, family-owned companies, and pre-IPO entities. Recent clients include: Five Below, Campbell Soup Company, Bumble, Allstate, American Express, Foot Locker, General Electric, Intel, Shutterfly, Spanx, Bed Bath & Beyond, Fortune Brands, and Macy's.

Crist|Kolder Associates has welcomed two undergraduate research analyst Interns every summer since the inception of the Firm. We have come to count on their energy and creativity to bring a new perspective on the topic of executive movement. Interns take with them a depth of experience in consulting and project management, an expanded, powerful, network, and a tangible work product, referenced in major business publications, which can be shared with prospective employers.

We hire two interns every summer and expect them to be engaged from the beginning of June until they go back to school in August. We are looking for individuals who will be entering their Senior year of undergrad, the fall semester of 2025. We also expect our interns to come back for a week or two during Christmas break to finish the project. We need individuals who live in the Chicagoland area as we do not offer housing.
