As an intern at Landmark Wealth Group (LMG), students will help the firm achieve bottom-line results and gain worthwhile experience. You will be directly supporting lead Financial Advisors in a high-energy, team-based atmosphere. You'll also gain career-building skills and knowledge in the financial planning industry.
Finance internship
LWG is looking to hire an intern over summer break (or prior if desired). We are looking for someone with a great attitude who will enjoy coming to work and serving clients as much as we do. Attention to detail and the ability to work with other team members are a must. Required to work 20-25 hours per week. There is potential to start the program before summer, and to continue some hours after the summer break ends if desired. LWG’s summer internship program is scheduled around your school break. Summer internships are paid positions.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- A genuine interest in the financial services industry
- Detail oriented, strong math and analytical skills
- Good organization and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, function as part of a team, and prioritize effectively
- Strong computer and software skills
- Good interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills
Core Responsibilities
- Entering and examining financial data
- Reviewing and interpreting financial statements
- Performing numerical calculations
- Preparing preliminary Financial Advisor proposals and Asset Allocations
- Running hypothetical illustrations
- Preparing visual aids for client meetings (e.g., charts, graphs, tables)
- Prepare correspondence
