Real Estate Entrepreneur Internship

Scottsman Real Estate is a company that was founded in 2012 and continues to thrive in the real estate market in a myriad of ways: managing over 55 rental properties, 200 mobile home lots, assisting its clients needs through a brokerage firm, finding deals to wholesale to local investors, and renovating properties. This position is 10 weeks (40 hours per week). The position could continue as a PT (and then possibly a FT) position after the internship, if it's the right fit.


 

Property Management:

• Assist property manager with day-to-day activities (as necessary);

• Establish and assist in managing project schedules; 

• Communicate effectively with tenants to address complaints, violations, and problems;

• Work with contractors to establish project vision, goals, and project concept; 


 

Brokerage Firm:

• Market and develop leads for the brokerage business; 

• Manage and post automated social media content; 

• Develop CMA (competitive market analysis) and sales information; 


 

Wholesale Business:

• Market and develop leads for the wholesale business; 

• Analyze and create value for leads (ROI);

• Develop relationships with leads and investors; 


 

Renovation: 

• Assist in creating proposals for single family renovation projects ; 

• Work with contractors to establish project vision, goals, and project concept; 

• Establish and assist in managing project schedules; 

• Work with owner to confirm market feasibility of project, evaluating key indicators of supply and demand;

• Work with owner to confirm economic feasibility of project; 


 


 

Necessary Education: 

• Undergraduate student with an interest in pursuing a career in finance, real estate, and/or management. Being handy and able to work with your hands is a plus.


 

Other Qualification:

• A valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance is required
