Digital Web Producer
13 WREX, the NBC affiliate serving northern Illinois is seeking a Digital Content Producer.
In this role, you will help lead the station’s digital content initiatives.
We are looking for a champion content creator to help shape and execute strategies for our newsroom and all its digital media efforts.
The ideal candidate for this role will have web and social media news content creation experience, strong writing skills, ability to comprehend digital analytics, strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work closely with the newsroom management team to create and administer daily content workflow both on-air and on-line.
Qualifications include a college degree in journalism, communications, or related field of study with at least one year of experience working for a television station, newspaper or an on-line news entity is preferred. Along with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment under deadline pressures.
