Pediatric Pulmonology Student Research Assistant

The Stead Family Department of Pediatrics is seeking a student to join our Pediatric Pulmonology team! This role would assist in the conduct of clinical research studies:  

• Reviewing protocols and lab manuals in order to prepare source documents and orders for study visits.  
• Setting up research visits in the CRU (bringing lab kits and other supplies to the CRU, calibrating the spirometer or MBW machine, setting up for sputum induction or sweat chloride testing.
• Extracting medical information (medical history, medications, labs) from EPI.
• Entering data into the study database.
• Addressing queries.
• Ensuring source document and study file data is accurate and complete.

This position consists of daily hours available Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm. We are willing to work around class schedule.
