Supply Chain Student
We currently need two students for Supply Chain. This position has availability for 1st shift hours and includes weekends.
Duties will include:
- Transport heavy surgical case carts throughout the hospital and clinics
- Work area may rotate between MOR, SFCH, and ASC
- Pick and stock supplies, check expiration dates, rotate stock, and other supply chain duties
- Work is physical and requires frequent walking, pushing/pulling up to 200 pounds with a tugger and lifting up to 25 lbs.
- Must be able to communicate professionally and effectively
- Must be able to use basic Microsoft Excel to sort and find data
- Scrubs provided. Employee is required to bring clean tennis shoes to keep in locker at work
Scheduling Rules & Expectations:
- Commit to 12-15 hours minimum per week
- May work up to 20 hours per week while school is in session
- Commit to working over some of the University of Iowa breaks (Winter break, Spring break, Summer break)
- Students may work up to 40 hours per week during the University of Iowa breaks
- Commit to working more than the minimum number of hours during university breaks (20 or more hours per week)
- Commit to working some holidays and weekends
