Internship - Strategic Partnerships Team - Aegon AM

PLEASE NOTE:  We are looking to hire one (1) summer 2024 intern, with the intern working out of our Cedar Rapids, IA office and under a hybrid work model. It is anticipated the intern will work 35-40 hours per week. This internship is not available for students who have completed their college undergraduate education or who will graduate prior to the conclusion of the internship.

Position Overview:

This internship will offer experience in supporting our Latin-American sales effort – using Morningstar reports, coordinating FA requests, distribution agreements, and distributor follow up items on our UK Funds. 

Mentor support will be provided by the Managing Director, Strategic Partnerships, and the Intern will work closely with the Associate Director and Sales Associate for the Strategic Partnerships team. 

The successful applicant will have strong interpersonal and communications skills, combined with a focus on developing business and commercial knowledge.

Required Qualifications:

• Must be currently enrolled full-time at a college or university pursuing a degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or similar field.
• Internships are not available for students who have completed their undergraduate college education or who will graduate prior to the conclusion of the internship.
• Strong written & verbal communications skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented.
• Reliable, dependable.
• Solid understanding of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Hybrid environment – must be able to work in the office and work from home/school.

Job and compensation levels depend upon an applicant’s qualifications including the extent of candidate’s relevant experience and other job-related factors and will be determined by hiring supervisors/managers and HR.
