Communications Intern
IADA is looking for a communications intern to join our team for the summer. The ideal candidate will be curious and eager to learn new things, but does not need to have any prior knowledge of the auto industry.
The communications intern will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including:
- The weekly e-newsletter: Writing and editing articles, creating graphics, and building the message within the email platform
- Marketing automation: Developing campaigns and tracking engagement
- The website: Creating content, optimizing the site for search, and working with the web development team on strategic improvements
- Iowa Auto Dealer magazine: Writing and editing articles for an award-winning magazine
- Other areas of interest: Assisting with event planning, government relations, e-commerce marketing, or other parts of association management
Approximately 30 hours per week
This paid internship will require the intern to come to the IADA office in West Des Moines.
