Customer Experience Intern

Overview

Fusion is searching for a Customer Experience Intern to join our growing Customer Experience team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty. You will work closely with the Customer Experience team to gather and analyze customer feedback, identify areas for improvement, and recommend solutions. You will have the opportunity to gain practical experience in customer experience management and contribute to the overall success of Fusion's customer service efforts.

Essential Functions

  • Extract meaningful insights from quantitative and qualitative data provided to you for the team to gather insights
  • Parse data to show trends
  • Index data into system of record and document in system
  • Ongoing tracking of survey responses and disseminating to the correct teams within Fusion
  • Apply creative strategies to improve customer experience
  • Assist with customer insights, loyalty program and service recovery where appropriate
  • Participate in Fusion Internship Program experiences and other development opportunities as directed by Program Coordinator.
  • Actively participate in capstone and other projects when applicable.
  • Work collaboratively with other interns, team members, and Fusion employees.
  • Other duties as assigned by management and/or Program Coordinator.

Work Environment

This position operates as a hybrid position and routinely uses standard office equipment.

 

Work environment defined:

Local - position has in-office requirements and would require employee to live in the local area

Hybrid - position has weekly in-office requirements but ability to work from home as well, would require employee to live in the local area

Remote - no in-office requirements, employee would not need to live in the local area

 

Position Type/Expected hours worked:

  • Internship dates: May 20th – August 16th, 2024
  • This is a temporary position.
  • Must work at least 25 hours/week, but no more than 40 hours/week.
  • Required to work in office every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday morning to participate in program-specific development sessions.
  • Required to attend and participate in Capstone Project presentation on August 15th, 2024
  • The work week is Monday through Friday, with specific work hours approved by Division Manager.
  • Computer & software is provided.
  • Reliable internet is required (not provided).

  • Employee is regularly required to talk and hear
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office equipment, such as a phone, headset, calculator, copier, and printer
  • The person in this position may need to occasionally move about inside the office to access files, computer equipment, copier, etc.

 

 

Position Type/Expected hours worked

This is a full-time position, and standard hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. CST (flexible start/end times with manager discretion). Regular and punctual attendance is required

 

Required Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Actively enrolled in an associate or bachelor’s degree program
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

 

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Preference is given to Junior and Senior standing
