Commercial Credit Analyst

Midwest, Inc is a specialized group of investment, asset management and loan servicing companies with offices in New York, Missouri, and Puerto Rico. Midwest focuses on the valuation, acquisition, and management of commercial credit obligations throughout the United States. Since 1996, Midwest has managed over $7 billion in portfolio investments on behalf of its clients and for its own account.

Midwest seeks to add one Commercial Credit Analyst to its Due Diligence/Underwriting staff in its Kansas City, Missouri office with responsibilities to include:

• due diligence and underwriting of commercial loan portfolio acquisitions.
• analyzing commercial credit situations across a variety of industries, geographies, and performance levels.
• business and real estate financial statement analysis.
• business and commercial real estate valuation.
• formulating appropriate transaction structures and workout strategies.
• preparation of loan portfolio valuation models.
• credit committee loan presentation.

Requirements include excellent written and verbal communication skills, financial analysis and analytical proficiencies, strong Microsoft Excel skills, ability to work in an autonomous and self-responsible environment, and a Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field.

Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Salary range of $60,000-$75,000.
