Business Management Intern

Position Summary (A Day in the Life)

  • Conduct research and compile contact information to support sales and marketing efforts
  • Update and streamline price models to ensure accuracy and competition in the market
  • Develop and enhance company presentations to communication our values and products
  • Manage data cleanup in systems focusing on customer accounts and contacts to maintain data integrity and accurate maintenance records
  • Research and coordinate the selling of products on expanded distribution channels
  • Develop and maintain supplier scorecards to evaluate performance and drive improvements
  • Conduct various spending analysis to determine how we can drive cost savings across the company 
  • Research and recommend new technology platforms for the company to explore 
  • Organize and structure shared drive for improved collaboration and efficiency across Teams
  • Audit benefit enrollments across different sites/platforms to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Coordinate summer events and activities to foster team building and morale
  • Create content for electronic bulletin board presentations and internal newsletters to effectively communicate initiatives and updates
  • Generate content for social media, email blasts, and newsletters for promote brand awareness and engagement with community
  • Plan and execute trade show and event promotions to maximize visibility and lead generation
  • Stay up to speed on marketing trends and ideas by analyzing competitor strategies and researching industry best practices 

     

Desired skills and experience:

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain, Management, Economics, or related field
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw conclusions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software applications
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Eagerness to learn and willingness to take initiative in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
