Job Description Cooperative Educational Service Agency (CESA) #12 is seeking an energetic individual for the position of Regional Special Education Network (RSN) Director.  The agency is seeking an educational leader who is ready to serve a diverse, rural northern Wisconsin learning community. The candidate of choice will support continuous systems improvement, develop leadership capacity of local special education directors, foster collaborative efforts to align opportunities for students with disabilities, engage in professional 

CESA #12 provides cooperative services to 17 school districts across the northwestern corner of Wisconsin, impacting approximately 14,000 students in pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade.  The CESA #12 office is located in Ashland, WI, on the shores of the Chequamegon Bay of Lake Superior.  The area provides a wealth of opportunities for outdoor recreational activities in a beautiful setting. 

Qualifications A successful candidate should demonstrate deep understanding of IDEA legislation and events impacting the broader field of special education for school districts, successful leadership and implementation skills at a district level, and the role of special education within an equitable multi-level system of support (EMLSS)

Requirements Applicants must hold Wisconsin DPI licensure as a Director of Special Education/Pupil Services (80).  Experience as a district-level special education director is preferred. Ability to travel to districts throughout the CESA 12 region and state of Wisconsin is a must.

Length of Contract This is a 190-220 day position.  

Salary Salary is negotiable based on qualifications and experience (Starting range $70,000-$80,000)
