Sales and Management Internship

CED offers competitivepaid internships for candidates that are sales-oriented, and interested in sales and management so you can have hands-on experience in the electrical industry from different perspectives.
 
This internship allows the successful candidate to learn the electrical wholesale business through experiencing every aspect of one of our “profit center” business units as a preview of our Management Training Program. You'll make a tangible impact on a growing business and learn valuable business development skills in a hands-on setting. 
 
You will learn the skills you need to greatly contribute to a growing business and take on increasing responsibility through projects and other sales and management related activities. Interns also have the chance to network with many key leaders and contributors in the Midwest Region as well as other interns.
 
Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Business Management
  • Inside Sales & Quotations
  • Customer Service
  • Management Business Analysis
  • Developing Product Knowledge
  • Inventory Management
  • Process & Operational Improvement
  • Warehouse Operations
  • Purchasing
  • Accounting Operations
  • Digital Initiatives & Marketing (Customer Portal Maintenance, Mobile App, etc.)

 
The successful candidate should have:

  • Sales skills
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal/written)
  • Willingness to take on a variety of tasks
  • Entrepreneurial minded
  • Strong leadership

 
Work Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
 
Locations: Multiple in Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, and Iowa
 
Compensation Range: $14-$18 an hour
