SUMMARY

Assists food servers to maintain service efficiency and ensures guest satisfaction by maintaining cleanliness of the front-of-the-house area.


 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Greets guests appropriately when they are
  2. Communicates with host/hostess and waitstaff to maintain service efficiency and ensures guest satisfaction.
  3. Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of the front-of-the-house including all tables, chairs, floors, windows and restrooms.
  4. Serves water, bread and butter to guests and provides refills as
  5. Restocks dining room with china, silverware, glassware, utensils, condiments, and linen, and maintains adequate supplies in the workstations when dining room is opened.
  6. Prepares beverages required for service including coffee, iced tea and
  7. Removes dirty dishes and utensils from tables between courses and clears tables after guests leave.
  8. Replaces dishes and utensils for next course and cleans and resets vacated
  9. Returns dirty dishes, silverware, glassware and utensils to dishwashing
  10. May assist waitstaff in serving tables with hot beverages such as coffee or
  11. Fill ice in all wait stations, prepare water
  12. Shine silverware and glasses during down time.
  13. Take out trash in all wait
  14. Take bus tubs back to
  15. Wipe down wall behind buss car in all wait
  16. Dump all slop
  17. Stock coffee cups and
  18. Take employee break room trash to
  19. Fill employee soda machine with
  20. Clear and re-set all tables in the specified
  21. Roll
  22. Sweep and mop both wait


 

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

  1. No previous food service experience necessary
  2. Must be able to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for periods of up to four hours in length, and to lift, bend and Must have the ability to frequently lift and carry bus tubs, trays, and other objects weighing 25 pounds or more.


 

WORKING CONDITIONS

High noise levels, hot, must be able to lift 25+ pounds.
