Student-Athlete Academic Services Tutoring Job Description

 

Student-Athlete Academic Services is currently looking to fill tutoring positions for the Summer and Fall 2024 semesters (and potentially beyond). We are looking for tutors or teachers who may have obtained a grade of a “B” or higher in the courses below and feel comfortable tutoring them. Our tutors provide one-on-one and small group tutoring instruction. Interested candidates are asked to send a copy of their resume and transcripts to athletic-tutoring@uiowa.edu. The pay rate for this position is contingent on education and prior tutoring/teaching experience, however, no previous tutoring experience is required. New hires may be required to attend mandatory tutor trainings. These positions will remain open until all tutorial needs are met.
