Position Introduction/Key Duties

Watring Technologies, Inc. (WTI) is seeking entry-level Assembly Technicians to support industrial production hardware assembly, integration, and testing activities. This position is supporting work at the WTI headquarters location in Huntsville, AL.

This is a short-term (8 to 12 weeks) role, offering an exceptional opportunity for individuals eager to launch their career with a technically challenging assignment and acquire invaluable industrial hardware experience!

Key Duties: 

• Perform assembly procedures for the fabrication and integration of systems and components into industrial production equipment.

Required/Desired Skills, Experience, and Education

Required Skills, Experience, and Education:

• Due to facility security requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for consideration at this time.
• Working knowledge of fabrication skills, including cutting, grinding, bending, fastener installation, material handling, surface preparation, inspections, and dimensional measurements.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to document the assembly processes.
• Ability to support multiple assembly efforts simultaneously.
• Ability to effectively communicate and work well with others and within a team.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Desired Skills, Experience, and Education:

• Experience with riveting equipment.
• Experience with TIG welding & Laser welding equipment.
• Experience utilizing work orders and production route sheet instructions.
